It is expected that many players will give flowers, presents and cards to their mothers and other maternal figures such as grandmothers, stepmothers and mothers-in-law.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is another player whose mother made him the person he is today considering how his 'drunkard' father abandoned him when he was young. 

Ronaldo who is the world's best player has always being seen anywhere he goes with his mother and the woman has never left him for once. 

3. Gabriel Jesus

Injured Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus will never play with his mother named Vera as the woman raised him up alone. gistlite.com learnt that Vera is also living with his son in England and even controls what goes on his plate because the 19-year-old Brazilian star suffers from stomach cramps which can affect his performance on the pitch if he eats the wrong grub.
