Nigerian gay activist Bisi Alimi finally weds male lover
Finally, Nigerian gay rights activist, public speaker, blog writer and HIV/LGBT advocate Bisi Alimi has exchanged wedding vows with his male lover, Anthony days after taking to social media to share pictures of his ‘Bachelors’ party’.
“In the presence of friends and family from around the world, Anthony and I will say ‘I Do’. But we remember places in the world where love is (a) crime.” Bisi wrote on Twitter confirming his marriage.
Moments after posting the message on Twitter, Bisi got a reply from Kevin Maxwell who wrote on the social media platform saying; “Congratulations to @bisialimi, gay rights activist, public speaker, blog writer & HIV/LGBT advocate, on his marriage to Anthony! #LoveWins”.
