4 Nigerian Artists Akon Revealed he signed

On Tuesday, we reported that Akon had just signed Nigerian artist, Samklef, to his label Kon Live records. However, Akon has always had a vested interest in Nigeria and Samklef is just the latest name to be linked with him. Here are some of the biggest movers and shakers that Akon has claimed to have signed at one point or another.
 
1. Faze
The singer and songwriter from the Plantashun Boiz was heavily linked with Konvict Muzik Africa, but things don't seem to have worked out since then.
 
2. P Square

P Square had a brief deal with Konvict Muzik Africa which saw them work with Akon on "Chop My Money" remix and "Bedroom".
 
3. 2 Baba

2 Baba and Akon have always been very close and the latter announce Idibia (then known as 2Face) as his artist on Konvict Muzik
 
4. Wizkid
 
Yes, at the very beginning of the Starboy movement, Akon made a move for Wizkid, recognizing the singer's potential. He announced Wizkid as his artist saying: "The whole concept is using Wizkid to help build a new generation of music."
