Oxlade-Chamberlain was one of Arsenal’s top performers during last season’s run-in, as manager Arsene Wenger switched to a back three and finished the campaign strongly with the FA Cup.
The 23-year-old was told that he could expect a quick conclusion regarding his new deal with Arsenal eager to secure their attacker’s future. However, nearly a month after the end of the season, formal talks are yet to commence.
Oxlade-Chamberlain only has 12 months left on his current deal.
